Made in Japan this is a good quality traditional Japanese tenugui with a playful design on deep purple fabric, showcasing two playful cats curled up around a central sake motif (酒). Surrounding them are delicate illustrations of rice stalks, fresh fish, sake bottles, and other elements reminiscent of a cosy izakaya (Japanese Pub). Assembly is really simple, you just trap the cloth at the top and the bottom between the wooden poles which are split in half lengthways and snap shut with a strong magnet which traps the top and bottom of the fabric.
